Doug S.

Doug joined the State Line Auto Auction team in 1988, and has worked his way up to his current position as Fixed Operations Manager. Doug started working in the reconditioning department and then in the body shop. Later, he became the Transportation Manager, a position he held until 2022. For a few years, Doug left to work alongside his son as the Operations Manager for a slot die coating machine manufacturer. There, he learned additional operational skills, which he brought back to State Line in 2026 when the manufacturer went through a merger and relocated. Doug identifies as the epitome of a "car guy" and enjoys getting to work at State Line Auto Auction because of that. Today, he serves as the Fixed Operations Manager, overseeing the shop operations for Reconditioning, the Body Shop, the Mechanic Shops, and related service divisions. Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, camping, and racing cars.
