Get to Know the 2026 Summer Interns at State Line Auto Auction

Every summer, State Line Auto Auction welcomes a new group of interns who bring fresh perspectives, strong work ethic, and a willingness to jump in wherever they're needed. This year's team has been no exception.

From marketing and photography to registration, condition reporting, and lot operations, our interns have supported departments across the auction while gaining hands-on experience that extends far beyond the classroom. Their contributions have helped keep daily operations moving while allowing them to explore careers connected to their fields of study.

Get to know this year's summer interns below.

Cora Franklin

Marketing Intern

Originally from Warren Center, Pennsylvania, Cora is pursuing a degree in Marketing with a minor in Photography at East Stroudsburg University.

As a marketing intern, Cora supports the marketing department through advertising, promotional efforts, administrative tasks, dealer registration, IF Bids, and Top-Block internet support. She also assists other departments whenever additional help is needed.

Throughout the summer, Cora has taken the lead on several important projects, including photographing special sale events, producing a welcome video for new dealers, and creating a comprehensive dealer information guide highlighting everything State Line Auto Auction has to offer.

Outside of work, she enjoys expanding her photography portfolio by attending vehicle shows and races, helping businesses with photography, working on her family's farm, and spending time fishing with friends.

Lucas Aquilio

Vinyl Graphics

Lucas is from Athens, Pennsylvania, and is studying Animation at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

This summer, Lucas put his creativity to work by helping with vinyl graphics around the auction, including the installation of graphics on one of State Line's trucks. His artistic background and attention to detail made him a great fit for projects that help strengthen the State Line brand throughout the facility.

Wyatt Zorn

Operations Intern

Wyatt is from Tioga Center, New York, and is studying Professional Aviation at Kansas State University while participating in the university's ROTC program.

Throughout the summer, Wyatt has gained experience working within the fast-paced environment of the auction while learning more about the day-to-day operations that keep every Friday sale running smoothly.

Elijah Hungerford

Operations & Facilities Assistant

Elijah is from Elmira, New York, and is studying Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Operations at Houghton University, where he also competes in the decathlon for the university's track and field team.

At State Line, Elijah works within the Registration and Condition Reporting departments, helping monitor daily operations while assisting customers and supporting the team throughout the sale process.

When he's away from work and school, Elijah enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends.

Investing in the Next Generation

Internships provide students with opportunities to apply what they're learning in the classroom while gaining valuable real-world experience. At the same time, they allow us to invest in the next generation of professionals by introducing them to the many careers that help make a large auto auction successful.

We're grateful for everything Lucas, Wyatt, Cora, and Elijah have contributed this summer and appreciate the enthusiasm, professionalism, and hard work they've brought to the team.
